The Vanilla is unnoticed and
The Vanilla is unnoticed and this is very overpowered by the alcohol scent. I'm not A fan. I enjoy the original classic scent better.
Surprisingly I don't smell the vanilla and to me it simply smells like and old school aftershave. It works good, it smells good, it feels good so it was definitely worth buying.
Great for me, maybe not for you
To all the one-star reviews: what do you expect for 8 bucks? I personally like this stuff. It is not fancy but gets the job done and doesn't leave me smelling strongly or of something objectionable all day; it fades pretty fast. I also think it goes on nicely over top of creams and soap scents without clashing. I have grown to prefer this scent to their Clubman scent, which is definitely much stronger (and which I preferred for a long time). If you prefer a lighter scent, this one may be for you. But I have tried all the Pinaud scents over time and will say that I definitely dislike some of them quite a bit, enough to simply throw them out. This one may be for you, maybe not: YMMV, but it only costs 8 bucks to find out!
Great scent stings when I put it on just how I like it.
I use aftershaves more for the scent than anything. I apply a small amount of witch hazel before hand for the actual healing. This Clubman vanilla is my favorite aftershave next to the vintage original Old Spice, which is no longer produced. It's light, yet striking, and it soon fades to a nice mellow scent that doesn't overpower throughout the day. Recommended!
