Spearhead Shaving Company is helping to advance the cause of wet shaving and re-establish a classic brand. Dennis and his family are the small business owners and artisans who are bringing back a line of fragrances from the 1940s. Seaforth! was a popular men’s grooming brand for decades, until it closed shop in the 1980s. Now Spearhead is bringing it back - vintage packaging and scents with a modern twist.

This shaving soap is tallow-based and whips up a rich, dense, frothy lather. With castor oil, murumuru butter, xylitol, lanolin, jojoba oil, shea butter, and more, you get a delightful concoction that nourishing and protects.

Seaforth! Lime is the newest recreation of Shawn Maher (of Maher Olfactory & Chatillon Lux) for Spearhead Shaving. Taking the scent first launched in 1966 for the Seaforth’s next generation of wet shavers, Shawn crafted a crisp, modern aroma great for warm weather. Notes of juicy lime combine with salty ocean and cedarwood with hints of coriander, pink pepper, and bay. Notes of Tahiti lime, bergamot, sea spray, coriander, pink pepper, and oakmoss.

Great smelling soap

This soap smells great. It's in my top 3 now, and I just went out and bought the EDP. I'm very happy with this purchase

Amazing

This soap quickly made it's way to the front of my den. The lather is easy to build, slick and thick. Exceptional performance. The scent is also amazing and pretty complex, I'm in love with it. Would absolutely recommend and it's easy to see why it was one of 2021's most talked about soaps.

So Glad I Took a Chance

Outstanding soap, in my experience. While the lime scent comes through in spades, there's an underlying, mellow, spiciness as well that's really nice. I'd say the scent is moderately strong: it's there, it's pleasant, it's just about right in my opinion. The lather itself was flat out superb and the post-shave face-feel, for me, has been excellent. Sea Spice Lime might be on its way to being my new favorite soap. Wish it was a little cheaper by the ounce, but... I'm over it.

My favorite scent of all time.

The scent is so good on this soap. I'm pretty sensitive to scents and this one is a perfect strength. I will always have this soap and aftershave. My one complaint is performance. I do have hard water so that likely is the main factor, however I don't have a problem lathering my chiseled face soap. If you have hard water you may have to work a little more than you are used to. Even with that the scent is worth it.
