Great Boar Bristle brush. No smell out of the box. Excellent weight and size. Lathers soap super fast for a great shave. Two thumbs up!
Great for face lathering
This is my first boar bristle brush. I have two badger brushes which cost much more and are very beautiful, but they don't really lather better than this brush. I wanted to try a boar brush because they reportedly have more 'backbone_. I like 'croaps_ like Cella and Proraso, so I figured a boar brush would be ideal, but I really use it more for face lathering with soap sticks. The knot is not as large as my badger brushes, but it lathers great and gets better each day as the bristles get split ends. I have not used my other brushes since I got this. Good stuff and inexpensive to boot.
Semogue 1250 a Great Brush for a New or Seasoned Wet Shaver !
To me the Semogue 1250 is a Great Size , Value , and Quality Option for anyone New to Wet Shaving or a Veteran . Not too huge and floppy , Great BackBone , allows control , and not a soap hog . Extremely well made , Great Quality for a Great Price by a Top Notch Shaving Brush Company . No Pig Smell either from the beginning . A 10 in my Book in the Boar Class !
Wonderful Shaving Brush!
I love this brush! It has a very nice heavy weight to it and the handle is beautiful. It's comfortable in the hand and makes a perfect lather. The bristles are very firm but soft at the same time and once broken in it's awesome! The brush has no bad odor at all. Semogue makes the best brushes! I'm very happy and for $17 it's a steal!
Best bang for the buck boar brush!
Great boar brush, tried just about all of them. Good comfortable handle, no paint and the bristle's are not dyed which I like. Works on hard soaps with ease and once broken in is easy on the face. Good for bowl or face lathering.
