I can't say enough...Excellent !!!!!
The first thing that I noticed upon opening the box from WCS was the size of the jar of balm. Frankly, I was disappointed by its modest dimensions. Once I used it though it became clear that the amount of balm provided, in the aforementioned modestly sized container, was actually very generous. The balm has the consistency of a thick buttercream frosting and a nickel to quarter sized dot on the palm is more than enough for my face and neck to be coated and soothed. The performance of this balm is norhing short of amazing. It is thick and rich without being greasy and the essential oils, (peppermint, lavender, hemp, et al.), coat, soothe, and cool your face and then are absorbed completely, leaving nothing save smooth skin behind. The fragrance is also wonderful. First is the peppermint, front and center, but not overpowering. The peppermint oil adds a bracing cooling effect to your skin which lasts as long as the scent. (But again it is not overpowering.) Next comes the Lavender, but it is not Grandmas' cloying scent. This Lavender is herbaceous and bold, helped along by subtle hemp and mango, it provides an elegant finishing note. I can't say enough wonderful things about this stellar aftershave balm. It works so well and smells so good that I had to buy the shaving soap with the same fragrance also from Sudsy Soapworks. I will be keeping this in a prominent place along with Col. Conks' Lavender balm, and Barrister and Mann Reserve Lavender aftershaves.
Good aftershave balm
It is a little greasy but it feels great on the skin. Lasts on the skin keeping the face moisturized. Smells great the mango and peppermint comes forward strong in the beginning. Fairly strong menthol cooling sensation which I like. And it doesn't irritate with the witch hazel. I wish shipping was improved.
