Great Razor

I was looking for a new blade razor and found it. I like the longer handle, provides better control over my old one. Provides a great shave with the Featherlite blades I use. Great purchase.

My favorite razor

This is best-looking and best feeling razor I've ever used, and I've had several. It has great balance in the hand, and the real wood handle has beautiful grain. An incredible buy for less than $20. I like it better than a $95 Edwin J razor I also own. The only suggestion for this one is to plan on refinishing the wood -- the surface finish started flaking off after only a few shaves, so I sanded it down lightly and refinished it with my favorite gunstock finish -- Birchwood Casey TruOil. Several coats gave the wood a wonderful glow and it has lasted very well. (It absorbs into the wood rather than just sitting on top of it). GREAT razor.

My First Wooden Handle Razor!

I was very excited to get this razor in the mail (very fast shipping!)! I was on my way out the door for work when I took this from the mailbox. After things slowed down at work, I had the opportunity to really scrutinize the razor and color me impressed! The woodwork is excellent! I haven't observed any blemishes in the fit and finish . This feels like a work of art in the hand. Finally got to use it the following morning. I used an Arko shave stick with a synthetic WCS brush and paired the razor with an Astra premium blade. The result was what I'd hoped for, a great shaving experience! I've only recently gotten into DE razors and wet shaving so I'm still working on my technique . I will definitely be picking up more razors from WCS as I am bitten by the wet shave bug!
