Zingari Man Tallow Shaving Soap, Magician
- Traditional, lathering shaving soap
- Scented with oakmoss, orange blossom, and green notes
I have a large collection of soaps. Most are good. A few are excellent. Right now there is only 1 superb soap in my cabinet. I put Zingari in the Excellent category. Slick. Nice Glide. Very nice post-shave feel. I put it in very fine company with the last generation Declaration Grooming, Tallow and Steel, and Wholly Kaw. I happen to think that the new Declaration Grooming (MilkSteak) is at a different level altogether and is the only soap in my cabinet to get a "Superb" rating. Make no mistake about it though, Zingari is excellent. The scent is as described (almost like a modern Barbershop scent) and it will have a very high place in my soap rotation.
Easy to work up a nice lather. Pleasant scent while shaving, doesn’t last much after. Probably one of the slickest, most comfortable soaps I have.
One of the slickest soaps I have tried. The razor just glides with ease. The lather is quite thick. It is a thirsty soap. I added a little water at a time to the brush as I swirled into the soap. The lather is very thick and provides excellent cushion. The scent is really nice. Hard to describe but a little like light orange and clean. Just on slickness and lather alone (scent can be very subjective), I highly recommend.
