This masterpiece of a straight razor blade is a 6/8" carbon steel with extra full hollow ground singing, the thinnest made. The silver steel imprinted on the blade is a reference to the days when silver was actually included in the blade to improve its qualities. Manufactured in more than 120 steps, by hand, in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, Germany, this grooming tool is an investment in an exceptional shave. Please note: previous versions of the razor had jimps (file marks that improve grip) on either side of the tang that are no longer present.

The handle (scales) of this straight razor are a faux tortoise look for a retro feel. Packaged in historical packaging with a certificate of authenticity. Serial numbered. Most straight razors are not pre-sharpened from the factory. You can choose to have your razor honed by our honemeister and delivered to you shave ready or left unhoned.
