  • Taylor's rich, long-lasting shaving cream in a travel-sized tube
  • Scented with Sandalwood
  • Made in England

Sandalwood is one of the most elegant scents out there, and this cream allows you to enjoy it while you groom. Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream Tube, Sandalwood, in a 75ml tube, is conveniently sized for travel, easy to use, and really does an excellent job of providing protection. If your face tends to look a bit rough after you're done shaving, this product might be just what you need to make that stop.

The scent is very rich and woody, with a bit of cedar added in that gives it more body. The addition of jasmine, rose, rosemary and lavender makes it even better, providing a very elegant result when you're done with your shaving routine. Step up your game with real products for keeping yourself neat and clean and you'll never want to go back to cheap products. They just don't have the same protective qualities for your skin, and they certainly don't give you the same great results as products such as these!

Mr.

Lathers up very nice in your palm with a badger brush. I am not crazy about the scent though. I've been happily using Proraso sandalwood and LOVE that scent. This, unfortunately smelled like "old man" to me AND lingered more than I liked on the brush. I'll be trying the lemon-lime for travel since the tube is a very convenient size.

Amazing, fast lather and deep, earthy scent.

I've tried a few soaps and creams, and so far Taylors Sandalwood Cream takes the top spot for me. This cream effortlessly whips up to a perfect, creamy, silky smooth lather in seconds. I actually like the scent better than my Proraso sandalwood soap, it's got a deeper, earthy smell to it whereas the proraso is more fragrant. Definitely a matter of taste, but the Taylor's is more to my liking. I've no doubt this will be one of the regular items in my rotation.

Classic, English Gentleman Scent

Proraso Sandalwood has been my go-to cream, and I've also had some experience with soaps. When I took a trip via commercial air, I needed a good shave cream that was in a container small enough to take in carry-on. I found this smallish tube of Taylor of Old Bond Street; I had read some good reviews previously about this brand, and this seemed like the perfect excuse to try some. I found the scent to be earthy, refined -- woody with some lavender notes. It lathers quickly, thick and slick. Just about a half-almond dollop in the middle of my brush will give me all the lather I need for a 3-pass BBS. The cream goes on the face with the proper consistency, stays thick without drying out or breaking down, and leaves the face feeling moisturized. The scent is fairly strong -- if you like that kind of thing; I do, and it stays with you a good while. It seems to pair well with a musky, woody, patchouli-y cologne. I find the scent unique, gentlemanly without being the cliche' Bay Rum, clove-y scent that seems so prevalent among shaving supplies. It's just a pleasure to shave with this cream. It has worked its way into my rotation, and may supplant the Proraso as my go-to.
