Great hold and look
Another great hair product form D.R. Harris. It provides just enough hold to keep down the flyaways. I typically use a hair tonic, but sometimes when it's hot and moist outside that can result in an oily look. This hair cream is great for those days (which is many, if not most, days here in the south). Its a bit pricey but you don't have to use much. It's also not as good smelling as some of the other D.R. Harris products, but as with any good hair product, the scents fades into the background pretty quickly. I'd reccomend it.
I don't know why I didn't try this gel a long time ago. I've been going through pomades like crazy, trying to find one that would hold my hair but not turn it into a sticky brick. I should have known to turn to DR Harris first because I am a big fan of all of their products. I recently found my favorite shampoo and conditioner, DRH's Coconut Oil, so it would figure that their hair gel would work so well for me, too. Neither greasy nor shiny, it goes on much easier than mixing in a pomade. Hair drys, looks completely natural and stays in place all day.
Perfect Hair Cream
D.R. Harris has been in business almost as long as the United States of America (1790 vs. 1776),so one expects the best from their products--and gets the best from this product. I have avoided styling gels and lotions for decades because they don't work or look unnatural. Harris's Crystal Hair Cream holds my hair in place perfectly, has no perfumey odor, and lasts all day. I wash my hair daily, using D.R. Harris shampoo and conditioner, and am pleased with the results.
Great gel, not greasy
My new favorite hair gel. I was a bit hesitant to buy because of the cream in the name, I thought it was going to be...well creamy. This is indeed a hair gel and a very good one, light feeling but very strong hold and a light fresh scent that you don't notice after applying. Much better hold than the TOBs herbal hair gel.
