My DE razors usually have longer handles, but setting up a new WE shave in our small apartment meant downscaling everything to the space I had. I decided to go faux ivory with the brush, stand and razor and loved the shape of the Edwin Jagger Plaza. It's my first Edwin Jagger (I'm usually a Muhle guy) and the first shave didn't disappoint. Not aggressive at all, but effective and comfortable. It also fits very nicely in my medium-large hand; while I usually like to feel the handle shaft contacting my hand during the shave, it was really interesting and confidence-inspiring to feel the tip of the handle as a solid contact point in my hand as I'm maneuvering.
Combined with a synthetic Muhle brush and the WCS 307 stand, it makes for a good and attractive setup, if on the compact side.
