Electric shaver user for forty years, I've tried many brands of preshaves. This is the first preshave I like as much as the Williams Electric Preshave Gel which has not been available for 10 years. Aramis Lab Series is the only recent preshave that works decently but is oily, though not as oily as the current Willaims Lectric Shave. All others I have tried leave my face sticky and the shaver drags and are slow to dry before I can shave. The Aramis is also much more expensive. The only thing I do not like is the glass bottle for the Spieck. Plastic is lighter and less likely to break if dropped.
Speick Pre Electric Shave Lotion
Excellent affective aroma accentuates the positive effectiveness of this German product for a pleasant shave.
My preferred pre-electric shave product.
Over many years of electric shaving, I have tried a number of pre-electric shave products. I prefer this product, although admittedly it is a bit more expensive than most of the more readily available over-the-counter products. The lotion provides adequate lubrication, but does not overly lubricate. I have found that many other products tend to be too oily and leave the face feeling as such. The fragrence is pleasant and certainly not overly done. Over the years, this has stood the test against all the competition for me.
It's alright but, not the best
I felt like this particular pre-electric shave was a par for the course. It's not as good as a Williams Lectric shave. This product needs a little more lubrication to cut undesirable friction.
