Talbot Shaving Soap, Old Burying Ground|
- Traditional, lathering shaving soap
- Scented with florals, greens, and earthy notes
Chad uses nature as his inspiration for crafting scents that make you sit up and take notice. As a soapmaking hobbyist, Chad is committed to loving what he does for the sake of it. If you want to join his soap-making journey, check out this soap.
As a tallow-based recipe, this soap whips up a rich, dense, long-lasting lather. The addition of oils, butters, marshmallow root, and tussah silk all combine for a moisturizing finish.
Chad’s inspiration for this Old Burying Ground scent is a crumbling and neglected cemetery in Westfield, MA. It represents many such landmarks, but Talbot Shaving is helping to restore this one by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this soap to its preservation. The floral, rose forward notes of the top of this scent seek to evoke the bouquets which wreath a recent burial plot. Then green notes of grass and freshly turned soil come into play.
