Bringing wet shaving to the masses is a high priority for us here at West Coast Shaving. We want to source and create grooming goods that allow you to love your daily shave. So we set out to bring you the highest quality shaving brushes at an unbeatable price. Our new range of brushes (in synthetic, silvertip, and pure badger) offer exceptional shaving at a great value (without the middle man). Try West Coast Shaving Beacon Shaving Brush, Silvertip, Ivory.

We've loaded this brush with top-of-the line badger hair. This natural fiber is most prized by shaving aficionados as it has good backbone and water retention to help you whip up a fabulous lather. And silvertip hair is some of the best. These hairs are the highest quality badger- soft to the touch with a great face feel. The 24mm knot is a lather monster with a densely-packed large head to produce your lubricant. And we've set the knot deep in the handle for durability and comfort.

Our "Beacon" handle will light the way to a great shave with its tall, slender silhouette. This resin handle is reminiscent of the ivory or bone handles used by generations of gentleman before us, who knew the art of a good shave. The high-gloss polish just need a rinse and wipe with a soft cloth to stay looking good-as-new.

A stunning-looking grooming utensil is a fantastic brush at a great price. We think you are going to love it!

Meh

I returned it. Bristles too hard. I have a real silver tip brush that softened over time. This one will not soften. Also, it’s branded on the bottom of the handle which is annoying.

Great, but no need to brag

The brush is perfect — full, soft, whips up a luscious lather. But for people who don’t like doing companies’ advertising for them, the name of the seller engraved in black letters on the top of the handle will be disappointing.

Real good brush

The brush I got is a really good shave brush for the money. It whips up enough lather for a three pass shave. I recommend the brush for anybody that wants a medium sized three band silvertip badger brush. West Coast Shave rocks.

What an improvement

I didn't know how worn out my old brush was. The lather is way better and the shave much closer.

Hand mop, not for precision

Nice handle, feels good in the hand, fits well in chrome stand. Bristles are nice and soft. Those are the positives. The problem with this brush is that it is like a little mop, a hand mop. It quickly sucks up all of the lather in the bowl which means you can't really whip it up to a nice thick, yogurt-like consistency. I'm using double the cream or more than with my old brush. Trying to spread the lather on your face using this is like using a blunt instrument, it ends up too bushy and will get cream in you ear, up you nose, etc. I have a cheap synthetic brush that this replaced. That cheap brush whipped the cream in the bowl nicely and I was able to brush and "paint" the cream where intended on my face. I thought this would be more luxurious. While it is softer and feels nice on the face, it doesn't actually do the necessary job better than the cheap, stiffer brush.
