- safety razors
Experienced or Novice? No problem.
This is my go-to. Got my first one at age 15. Still my go-to DE safety razor 31 years later. Whether you’re an experienced wet shaver or just starting out, it’s great for all who love DE shaves.
New to DE single edge razor shaving. Was using Mach 3 prior to switch. Three pass and I’ve never had a better shave. Five shaves in on the same merkur blade and no burn or nicks. Love it. Do the pre shave oil and again as aftershave.
For the last year I shaved with a Merkur Futur adjustable razor and I thought it was OK, but after just one shave with the 34C my old razor seems like a piece of garbage. The 34C is superior in every way. The small knurled handle feels great in my large hands and the finish is nice without being showy. I shave every day so I'm not exactly mowing down a forest here but I got a very smooth shave with very little irritation. I used the Merkur blade that came packaged with the razor but am looking forward to tying it with my preferred Feather blades. Great razor and wish I had purchased it a long time ago. Stop thinking about buying it and just order it already.
It’s pretty good, learning curve coming from 3 blade razors
I’m used to 3 blade razors... this ian a learning curve to some degree. Shaves close, sorta rough on my neck but not too bad. Better than spending a ton of money on the typical razors they sell in the big stores. This is way cheaper but takes more time, it’s is a closer shave than I’ve ever had.. just have to go slower
