I wish bad was a four letter word
Because the four letter I want to use to describe this razor wouldn’t pass the censors of these reviews. Actually one describes it adequately - dull. I had been looking for a small razor to get in tight places and this one looked promising. In this case looks were deceiving. The blades are not sharp and as a result I got the worst case of pseudofolliculitis since I started shaving. I’d love to use this razor so if the manufacturers are listening please remedy this flaw Dr. Robert
Merkur Mustache and Brow Razor
Great idea, horrible execution. At best the blade 'rips' the hairs, at worst it digs. Not sure if its a blade issue (there are proprietary so you'll have no alternative), or the razor set up. Regardless, avoid this produce
Unfortunately, these blades drag down a pretty good concept.
I heartily agree with my fellow wet shave addicts; these blades are not sharp enough. That is a shame because the idea behind the little razor is a good one. Even with these second rate blades, I'm still able to get a decent 3 to 4 pass shave in the edge areas that my regular razor can't reach. I wish we could petition Astra or Feather or even Gillette to make a blade that fits the Merkur Mustache and Brow Razor--good old-fashioned capitalistic competition --we'd get us a really good blade. I'll continue to use this product because I have to, and hope that at least one other manufacturer will make a sharper version of this type of blade.
I find these blades are not sharp enough to cut the very stiff hair on my mustache.
The blades are not sharp enough
Not sure why the blades are not sharp ! It should be bit more sharp. It should not be for plucking hair OK
