Phoenix & Beau is the brainchild and handcraft of Kerry Burrow and his wife, Sarah. Starting in 2015, Kerry began the months long process of creating a shaving soap that could adequately handle his sensitive skin. Through much trial & error, vetting by shaving aficionados on The Shaving Room (TSR) online fraternity, and many, many batches of soap, the Burrows felt that had something worthy to offer the wet shaving world. Now you can own their small-batch, British-designed grooming requisites with great scents.

If you love the classic burn-and-quench of an alcohol-based splash, then you will love this aftershave from Phoenix and Beau. They've kept a simple, traditional recipe of astringent alcohol to cleanse and tone and then added a generous amount of aloe vera and vegetable glycerin to sooth and moisturize. Hydrating, anti-bacterial, and great smelling all in a frosted-glass bottle with a waterproof label.

Iceni is inspired by the regional ancestry around Burrow's home in Hitchin, England -- the Iceni tribe and their queen, Boudicca. Celtic knotwork, a golden torc, and 3 hares represent elements of this warrior queen and their goddess Andrasta. Notes of mandarin and bergamot open this accord. Then a heart of lavender, myrrh, and a touch of nutmeg add power to the scent. It ends with a base of musk, amber, sandalwood, and a kiss of vetiver & patchouli.
