Description from the Vendor

Scotsman Alexander Simpson started production of shaving brushes and male grooming ancillaries in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Manufacturing was originally based in the East end of London but later in Clapham. In 1941, following the loss of his factory during the World War II German Luftwaffe blitz, production was moved to the West Country at the famous Nimmer Mill. Today Simpson shaving brushes and associated products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man. They continue to be produced in the traditional way using hand tied knots by time served, skilled workers.

The Trafalgar is the latest offering from our new line of Alexander Simpson Est. 1919 shaving brushes. This superbly crafted & eye catching lathe turned handle is filled with our uniquely sourced Sovereign grade synthetic fibre.

Great brush lives up to Simpson’s quality

Fantastic brush that is soft yet can whip up lather easily. A great overall performer! I prefer a synthetic brush and this one does not disappoint in any area you would use to judge a brush. I probably will buy a T3 in the future and maybe a T1 just to have them all. This would make a great travel brush, knot & loft are not large and would be very easy to pack. I don’t like small brushes but don’t like to take larger brushes on the road due to space restrictions. Just looking at the brush you can see the quality expected from a Simpson brush. At the price point it enabled me to try Simpson since I hate to spend large sums for a brush but this is worth every penny. I might even break down and try a higher priced brush from them in the future.. I was worried on the first couple uses as it did shed some bristles but it now has settled in and stopped shedding.

Shaving Brush

Excellent synthetic brush. The bristles are almost like a full badger brush.

Excellent Synthetic

Very pleased with the T2. It is stuffed with soft synthetic fibers, yet has a decent amount of backbone. A short brush that packs power at a very reasonable price. I also bought the T1, which I didn't like. For me it did not contain the amount of fibers I like.
