Description from the Vendor

Scotsman Alexander Simpson started production of shaving brushes and male grooming ancillaries in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Manufacturing was originally based in the East end of London but later in Clapham. In 1941, following the loss of his factory during the World War II German Luftwaffe blitz, production was moved to the West Country at the famous Nimmer Mill. Today Simpson shaving brushes and associated products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man. They continue to be produced in the traditional way using hand tied knots by time served, skilled workers.

The Trafalgar is the latest offering from our new line of Alexander Simpson Est. 1919 shaving brushes. This superbly crafted & eye catching lathe turned handle is filled with our uniquely sourced Sovereign grade synthetic fibre.

Very nice!

This is my first synthetic brush. All my other btushes are badger silvertips. After alot of research went with the T3. So far so good… softer than expected and nice handle size and knot.

Switched from badger

My last two silver tip badger brushes (Simpson & Shavemac) started to shed after a year. So I thought I’d try a synthetic brush for the first time. I’m glad I did. This brush is comfortable in hand with a wide handle and thoughtful machining. The T3 knot is large, lathers well (I use Proraso in a bowl), surprisingly soft with decent backbone. It dries it minutes and has not shed one hair. It’s not the same as badger but it’s a very nice brush for a reasonable price. Recommend.

Simpson Trafalgar synthetic brush

There are cheaper brushes on the market but you can't beat the Simpson quality. I am very pleased with it's performance. It is very soft on the face and holds the lather well. It has plenty of backbone to whip up a nice lather in a bowl or on the face. You can' go wrong with this one.

Great Brush

I really enjoy using this brush. I have always had a positive experience with Simpson’s brushes. This brush is awesome for a face or bowl lather.
